I have taught drums for over a decade. My students have ranged in age from five years to sixty-five. I teach from an ensemble player’s paradigm, and pride myself on lessons with real life applicability. I teach whatever the student wants to learn.
Mobile Drum Lessons
I offer mobile drum lessons in the student’s home. I bring a full compact drum set with me for these, so lessons cover the entire kit and not just a snare or practice pad.
Drum Lessons in Fremont
I also offer drum lessons in the heart of the Fremont neighborhood in Seattle. I teach out of ExEx Audio, a studio by Dusty Strings. I schedule on a week-by-week basis for lessons at ExEx. ExEx has multiple drum sets laying around, so there’s no need to bring in outside equipment.
Rates
My current rates, mobile or in-house, are $35 for a half hour or $55 for an hour. For mobile lessons I charge a driving fee of $5-10, depending on location.
